ENJOYING THE SHOOT [Week, The (Oman)]

(Week, The (Oman) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Panasonic's new lineup of five high quality fullHD camcorders comes with features for enhancing the shooting experience. The pick of the bunch is the HCW850, which features a Twin Camera shooting mode. The W850 can shoot pictureinpicture video with a subcamera located on the side of the LCD screen. The Twin Camera captures two scenes at once, such as a closeup shot and landscape shot in the same direction, front and side shots, or shots of the subject and person filming.

The W850, V750, V550, and V250 camcorders include the new Baby Monitor feature which enables users to monitor a sleep ing baby in another room with the use of their smartphone. Using the Panasonic camcorders smart phone combination, users can even speak to the baby using the smart phone or have the camcorder send notification to the smartphone, based on the baby's movement.

The W850 and V750 cam corders feature new lenses, sensors and engines for significantly improv ing the image quality. The world's first fourdrive lens system uses a fourgroup lens system con trolled by individual motors for enabling highresolution and high magnification zoom operation within a compact body size. A BSI sensor with an effective pixel count of 6.03MP is used to expand the sensor effective area for boost ing the sensitivity by approximat ely 1.3 times.

The new Crystal Engine Pro+ provides processing speeds that is about 1.5 times faster than the previous engine. New, enhanced noise reduction has been imple mented for reducing by about 20 per cent delivering sharp, crystal clear video images.

The Remote Pan Tilt Cradle accessory (sold separately) has also be launched with these cam corders. When connected to a camcorder, it detects a moving subject and automatically tracks the subject within a horizontal movement range of 180 degrees and vertical range of 15 degrees. If installed at a party, users can connect it to the camera's motion sensor to automatically capture the festive atmosphere.

This handy feature can, when used in conjunction with the home WiFi, automatically track any pets that are home while you are away and monitor them from a remote location. In addition to the basic functions of capturing, viewing, and sharing video, Panasonic pro vides a wide range of advanced features for adding greater enjoyment and fun to users' family time.
