Toshiba wheels out featherweight notebook [ITP.net (United Arab Emirates)]

At only 11.6 inches, The Satellite Pro NB10, which is available from today, has been designed with students in mind as it is said to be cost effective and perfect for moving around because of its size and weight.

The new laptop runs Windows 8, has optional touchscreen display, weighs only 1.3kg and a thin design of only 21.5mm at its thinnest.



Speaking about the Satellite Pro NB10's performance, Santosh Varghese, General Manager of Digital Products and Services at Toshiba Gulf FZE said: "Through the latest Intel Celeron processors, this laptop can run multiple heavy applications at the same time and still save energy. Because it is equipped with Windows 8.1, it supports the latest games and apps for PC, ensuring a highly interactive user experience. We designed the Satellite Pro NB10 for users who need reliable performance on the go." According to Toshiba, the cost effective laptop has been engineered for mobile performance, it features a HD display, a high performance mobile processor and Microsoft DirectX 11, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, Multi-card reader, ports for USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and HDMI and Full HD web camera. It is also said to have extensive connectivity features and gaming capabilities.
