Thermo Fisher Scientific Expands Animal Diagnostics Business Through Acquisition of Prionics AG
PAISLEY, United Kingdom --(Business Wire)--
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science,
today announced it has completed the acquisition of Prionics AG, a
privately held animal health diagnostics company.
Founded in 1997, Prionics
is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, and has a major production
facility in Lelystad, the Netherlands. Prionics' product line of more
than 50 diagnostic test kits, accessories and biochemicals expands the
portfolio of animal health testing products under the Life Technologies

veterinarians and livestock producers."
