BRIEF: Greensfelder adds data breach practice [St. Louis Post-Dispatch :: ]


(St. Louis Post-Dispatch (MO) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) March 17--Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale P.C. has added a data breach, privacy and security practice group with 10 attorneys.

The St. Louis law firm's new practice group will offer counsel on IT forensics, government investigations and mitigating risk through privacy policies.

The data breach practice's attorneys are: Kirsten Moder Ahmad, Thadford Felton, Spencer Garland, Kevin Hormuth, Lucie Huger, Vanessa Keith, Mary Khouri, Gregg Lepper, Douglas Neville, and Patrick Sweeney.



"The government's determination to protect citizens and businesses from cyber intrusions affects all industries," Huger said in a statement. "There are regulations in place requiring certain industries to take proactive measures to prevent data breaches from occurring as well as protecting consumers in the event of a data breach."
