DVTEL Previews Horizon, Ariel - Next-Generation Solutions, Quasar 5MP & Mini-Dome HD Surveillance Camera

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. --(Business Wire)--

DVTEL, INC., the video surveillance solutions provider, is building on growing market opportunity by accelerating technology development with a bounty of new products. The entire suite of IP surveillance solutions will be displayed at booth #21109 at ISC West, April 2-4, 2014, at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The company will preview the new Ariel CM-3011 series of 720p HD quality, IR-illuminated mini-dome video cameras that guarantee frame rates in high motion, complex and low light scenes; and lower utility costs and carbon footprint. Delivering low bandwidth consumption through motion processing architecture while precisely handling wide variations in motion and lighting, the Ariel CM-3011 series eases storage calculations while reducing storage requirements, allowing users to experience a reduction in the total cost of ownership.

The Quasar CF-4251 series of 5-megapixel HD cameras is a broadcast video-quality camera that guarantees frame rates in high motion, complex and low-light scenes, at the lowest bit rates. Featuring HD broadcast-quality H.264 video and multi-streaming at high frame rates, the cameras feature tamper detection and multi-zone video motion detection. An intuiive Web interface streamlines management and configuration.

Also driving momentum at DVTEL is a new purpose-built product line targeting smaller-scale, yet enterprise-class surveillance deployments. These solutions, which include the Horizon NVR and Ariel encoders, ensure ease of installation, scalability and friendly user interface to the growing customer segment, while delivering the feature set and high-performance users expect from DVTEL.

The Horizon 6.3 Service Pack 1 (v 6.3.5.5200) delivers more functionality to the Horizon NVR. The package includes support for Quasar 5-megapixel cameras and ioimage edge devices. It also delivers enhanced features to customers requiring analytics or access control integrations and further streamlines operations by supporting video export from the Web client.

"This is a important time at DVTEL. With each addition to our end-to-end product portfolio, we raise the technology stakes and increase return on investment for end users as well as improved profitability for our VAR channel," said Kim Loy, Vice President of Global Marketing and Chief Product Officer, DVTEL. "At the same time, we are increasing the reach of our capabilities by investing in technical support and services during the launch of DVTEL's new product offering."

During the exhibition, attendees, partners and customers are invited to view DVTEL's new technology portfolio, which also includes a complete DVTEL video analytics portfolio (both edge-based and server-based) and new ioimage thermal surveillance cameras, during its opening day cocktail reception on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. at booth #21109.
