Fotobit Launches on Kickstarter to Give Instagram Photos a Lasting Home

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Orange County, CA (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 CRISP^YHKG, a product design, branding and marketing agency in Orange County, Calif., is proud to introduce Fotobit, a patent-pending modular photo frame system designed to display Instagram photos in a simple, beautiful way. Launching today on Kickstarter, Fotobit is a first-of-its-kind system that allows you to create your own beautiful wall display of photos by easily clipping photo frames together, allowing for limitless possibilities and custom combinations.

"There's nothing better than the nostalgic feeling you get when reliving a memory through a photo and I was looking for a way to share and display the countless photos I've taken with Instagram in a more permanent way," says Alan Yeung, Fotobit co-founder. "Traditional photo frames made the task too daunting, so that's when I came up with Fotobit, which I hope inspires people to get photos out of their phone and onto their walls." The Fotobit system is perfectly suited for digital photography enthusiasts who love using Instagram to capture their memories. Lightweight photo frames hold 4" x 4" prints protected by a clear acrylic window. Engineered for ultimate scalability, the Fotobit system starts with a single photo frame mounted to the wall. Fotobit photo frames attach together easily and securely with durable clips, providing an expandable, cost-effective framing system for creating both small and large-scale photo mosaics.

A homegrown passion project, the team at CRISP^YHKG is seeking funding via Kickstarter to get Fotobit past concept through to creation. After nearly 12 months and half a dozen rounds of prototyping, Fotobit is now in its final design, which has been put through the paces to ensure lasting quality. In order to green-light its production, Fotobit is working towards a $16,000 crowdfunding goal, which will go towards meeting production minimums.

Fotobit's 30-day Kickstarter campaign launches today with rewards for backers that start at a three-pack of Fotobit photo frames for $30 pledges. These reward levels are available in limited quantities to ensure backers receive their rewards in a timely manner following the successful close of Fotobit's Kickstarter campaign.
