RESTON, Va. --(Business Wire)--

PrismTech™, a global leader in software platforms for distributed systems, today announced that it has joined the Industrial Internet Consortium as its first (non-founder) industry member.

Quoting from today's IIC launch press release, "AT&T (News - Alert), Cisco, GE, IBM and Intel today announce the formation of the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC), an open membership group focused on breaking down the barriers of technology silos to support better access to big data with improved integration of the physical and digital worlds.
