Wilson is chairman of Indian Schools Board of Directors [Times of Oman]


(Times of Oman Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Muscat: A joint meeting of the members of the incoming and outgoing Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman was held on Sunday at the Indian School Muscat, where Wilson V. George was elected as the chairman of the Board in accordance with the process stipulated in the bye-laws, which state that "the incoming board shall elect one member from the five elected representatives of parents as the chairman of the Board." At a ceremony marked with solemnity, the outgoing chairman, Tonny George Alexander, expressed his satisfaction at having achieved a good result in a short span of time and thanked each one of the members of the outgoing board for their significant contributions. He appreciated the directors for working as a team with a common goal.



The new board has many challenges ahead, he said, adding he was confident that the new team would do everything possible to further improve the schools to provide the best to the community.

The incoming chairman, Wilson V. George, thanked the members for the trust and confidence reposed in him and lauded the commendable achievements of the previous board.
