(Wales on Sunday (Wales) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES Xbox 360) ANY new MGS title should set the gaming senses humming, and Ground Zeroes promises a showcase of Kojima Productions' next-generation FOX Engine, set to revolutionise the already super-Solid experience.

at In some respects it succeeds, as the first title in the franchise to offer open world gameplay, where the options for unrestricted stealth or gunplay are at the player's discretion.

But you must decide how to deploy your intelligence and cerebral strategy to sneak your way through the unfortunately short-lived missions, which range from tactical action to aerial assaults and 'covert' missions that will throw in a surprise or three.

The lengthy cut-scenes and complex plot have been sacrificed for a replayable experience that promises so much more from the upcoming Phantom Pain.

Silent stealth is still making a hell of a lot of noise on consoles these days, and nobody does it better than Metal Gear Solid. RATING: 3/5 MXGP (PS3) THIS official MotoCross GP game ticks many of the boxes needed for a fully endorsed video game of the sport.

It has stupendous gameplay that manages to capture the feel of the subject matter and keep you gripped throughout the races.

It isn't easy, nor is it too hard, and it is always highly competitive and excellent high-octane fun.

The graphics are not stunning, but they are perfectly fine for what you need.

The lack of polish in the graphics is somewhat compensated by the excellent authenticity offered by the inclusion of the official licence.

All the famous names are included, so I'm told, although I know absolutely nothing about the sport so I don't know who they are.
