BRIEF: KeyBank names new president of Tacoma-based South Sound market [The News Tribune (Tacoma, Wash.) :: ]


(News Tribune (Tacoma, WA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) April 07--KeyBank has a new president of its South Sound market.

Brian Marlow, a 13-year veteran at Key, will take over this week from Steve Maxwell, who served as president since 2009. Maxwell has accepted the position as executive vice president and chief lending officer at Kitsap Bank, according to a KeyBank release Monday.



Marlow, 45, has most recently served as portfolio manager and team leader at Key Private Bank. He is a Tacoma native ad grew up in the Gig Harbor area, graduating from Peninsula High School. He later matriculated at the University of Washington.

Marlow lives in North Tacoma with his wife, Amy, and their three children.


As market president, Marlow will lead the wealth management team and "will drive collaboration and coordination of KeyBank activities and resources in South Puget Sound," according to the release.

Marlow has been active in the area with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, and has served the society nationally as an investment adviser.
