Vector Marketing Corporation's Western Region Secures Company's Highest Honor for Sales Performance

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 08, 2014 The Western Region for Vector Marketing recently walked away with its 12th consecutive Silver Cup, the firm's highest honor, recognizing superior sales performance. Vector Marketing is the sales division for Cutco Cutlery Corporation, the largest kitchen cutlery manufacturer in North America. The single-level direct sales company sells its products through a national network of college students who sell through in-home personal demonstrations.


The Western Region totaled more than $40 million in sales in 2013 to lead the company. In addition, this region also earned four more Silver Cups for outstanding performance by individuals and offices.

"It was an outstanding year for the entire company and for our region," said P.J. Potter, Western Region Manager. "It is a distinct honor to be associated with such dedicated sales professionals who continually set and reach milestones. But, perhaps the most rewarding thing is the teamwork demonstrated by our managers, sales reps, staff, and cutlery craftsmen who work together throughout North America to provide a superior product to millions of people." Other Silver Cup winners included: 1. Amber Martindale, a manager with the Anaheim office, who placed first in Vector Marketing's "Premier League" with more than $1.6 million in sales.

2. Joseph Diaz, a district manager with the Clovis office, who placed first in the "New District Manager League" with $558,000 in sales.

3. Ty Dawkins, a sales representative in Honolulu, who placed first in the "Elite Rep Division" with $255,000 in sales.

4. The South Coast Division won two Silver Cups in the "Division Total Sales" ($7.6 million) and "Division Top 8" ($5.8 million).

"Vector Marketing is a unique organization in that we mold college students into sales professionals and entrepreneurs," added Potter. "For most of our reps, this is the first time they have ever sold anything. But through ongoing mentorship, they learn valuable skills that will serve them in the future, whether they stay with Vector or pursue other careers after graduation." These skills include time management, communications, making presentations, customer service, and financial management.
