Soccer: JFA vice president Tashima to run for FIFA ex-co(Japan Economic Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Japan Football Association vice president Kozo Tashima said on Wednesday that he will run for a seat on FIFA's executive committee from Asia. The 56-year-old Tashima announced his candidacy at JFA House following a meeting among officials from the East Asian Football Federation and ASEAN nations. Currently, there are three FIFA ex-co members from the Asian Football Confederation -- FIFA vice president Prince Ali bin Al Hussein of Jordan, Worawi Makudi of Thailand and AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
