BRIEF: Grand Forks School District hires business manager [Grand Forks Herald :: ](Grand Forks Herald (ND) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) April 16--The Grand Forks School District approved Tuesday the hiring of Edwin Gerhardt as its new business manager. Gerhardt currently serves as business manager for Bismarck Public Schools. He was chosen out of eight applicants the district found during their nationwide search, said Superintendent Larry Nybladh. "It's very pleasing to know he has an interest in Grand Forks," he said. Gerhardt, a UND graduate, will start his job here on July 1. He replaces Vicky Schwartz, who sent her resignation to district officials in late February.
