Heineken House Initiative Yields Positive Results


(AllAfrica Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Indications have emerged that things are looking up for the Heineken Brand, a product from the stable of Nigerian Breweries. This is as a result of the benefit football enthusiasts are deriving from Heineken House located in Lagos.



According to findings, the world-class viewing experience consumers are getting from the house is deepening the relationship between the brand and its patrons. Feelers from the company revealed that the house has suddenly become a positioning tool to further connect with consumers.

Meanwhile, football lovers were said to have positively readjusted to the relocation of the house from Victoria Island to Ikoyi.


Football fans and guests were recently invited to the upscale Heineken House Lagos in Ikoyi to experience the ambience of the new environment and watch the UEFA Champion Leagues.

The grand opening of the house was done by the Marketing Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Mr. Walter Drenth, who addressed the media and promised that the brand will continue to look for ways to satisfy consumers.

Among other features, the house has; Football Arena Room complete with real stadium seats, Heineken and UEFA Champions League museum atrium, and Heineken Served Extra cold bars with draught beer featured in the house.

Commenting on while the company gave the house the fascinating touches, the Senior Brand Manager, Heineken, Jacqueline Van Faassen, explained: "Our consumers and visitors to the Heineken House deserve the best ambience to watch their UEFA Champions League matches, hence, all the facilities in the house have been upgraded to give every guest a world-class experience with a series of activities lined up for different nights up till the final match." Visitors to the house were stunned with various upgrades, which made it a conducive place to football lovers. For instance, the reception, mini-viewing rooms and bar have been transformed.

Also upgraded are the two viewing rooms on the first floor, the viewing lounge as well as the interview room. The Astroturf mini football pitch has also been upgraded, with a more spacious area outside of the main complex.
