University of Connecticut Assigned Patent for Semiconductor Devices Manufacture

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 18 -- The University of Connecticut, Farmington, Conn., has been assigned a patent (8,698,226) developed by two co-inventors for semiconductor devices, methods "for the manufacture and articles comprising a source region, a drain region and a gate layer." The co-inventors are Faquir C. Jain, Storrs, Conn., and Fotios Papadimitrakopoulos, West Hartford, Conn.
