UEM Sunrise sees good take-up rate [New Straits Time (Malaysia)]
(New Straits Time (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) KUALA LUMPUR: UEM Sunrise Bhd, the country's largest property developer by market capitalisation, is targeting a 70 per cent takeup rate for its newly-launched Block B of Residensi 22 Mont'Kiara condominium by year-end, and fully sold by as early as next year.
Residensi 22's Block A was launched last September and is fully sold.
Block B has 270 units, with an estimated gross development value of RM517 million.
According to UEM Sunrise chief marketing officer Siti Mariam Mohd Desa, the company has sold 20 per cent of Block B units.
"We are looking at 70 per cent take-up rate for Block B by the end of the year and we hope the whole project will be sold out by early next year," she said at a media preview of Residensi 22's Block B, here, yesterday.
The units range from 1,878 sq ft to 3,163 sq ft and priced from RM1.5 million to RM2.3 million each, at an indicative selling price of RM750 per sq ft.
She is confident that Block B will be as succe ssful as Block A as it caters to the discerning needs of a wide target market with its unique selling propositions.
"We are targeting young families with school-going children, retired couples who enjoy the convenience of urban lifestyle and security, professionals and senior executives as well as investors," she said.
Designed by award-winning architect UIG Architect Sdn Bhd, Residensi 22 is built to meet luxurious lifestyle needs.
The project features amenities such as a lap pool, gymnasium, tennis court, children's playground, pavili on , meditation lawn, a sky deck and a sky lounge.
"Each floor will have four spacious units and constructed with a skilful meld of modern aesthetics and functionality," Siti Mariam said, adding that 75 per cent of the units are corner units with wide balconies.
