Triad Michael's stores affected by data breach [News & Record, Greensboro, N.C. :: ](News & Record (Greensboro, NC) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) April 21--All of the Michael's craft stores in the Triad have been affected by the data breach that affected 54 of the Irving, Texas-based company's stores. About 400,000 cards could have been impacted during the breach, according to a press release by the company. The store has four locations in the Triad, all of which have been affected, according to a press release. The company has received reports of fraudulent uses linked to the breach. The stores are: -- 1455 University Drive in Burlington -- Dates of exposure: May 8, 2013 -- July 29, 2013 -- 1206 Bridford Parkway in Greensboro -- Dates of exposure: May 8, 2013 -- October 9, 2013 -- October 17, 2013 -- November 24, 2013 -- December 11, 2013 -- January 18, 2014 -- 1616 Highwoods Boulevard in Greensboro -- Dates of exposure: May 8, 2013 -- October 8, 2013 -- October 17, 2013 -- November 24, 2013 -- December 12, 2013 -- January 19, 2014 -- 1050 Hanes Mall Boulevard in Winston-Salem -- Dates of exposure: May 8, 2013 -- August 10, 2013 -- August 12, 2013 -- October 8, 2013 -- October 17, 2013 -- November 24, 2013 -- December 11, 2013 -- January 18, 2014 The company is offering identity theft protection, credit monitoring and fraud assistance services to affected customers for 12 months at no cost to them.
