Ethernet Alliance Selected for Keynote at 2014 Ethernet Technology Summit

The Ethernet Alliance, a global consortium dedicated to the continued success and advancement of Ethernet technologies today announced its Chairman, John D'Ambrosia, Chief Ethernet Evangelist, Dell (News - Alert) CTO Office will deliver a keynote address entitled, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Terabit Ethernet" at the 2014 Ethernet Technology Summit, April 29 - May 1, 2014 in Santa Clara, Calif. Focusing on the use of Ethernet throughout the networking space, the event compliments the work of Ethernet Alliance (News - Alert) in 400GbE.

Currently leading the 400 Gb/s Ethernet project in the IEEE 802.3 Working Group, Mr. D'Ambrosia's "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Terabit Ethernet" keynote describes challenges facing the 400GbE project and how potential solutions could impact 100GbE. His presentation is scheduled for 11:10am PDT, Thursday, May 1, 2014.
