Release date- 23042014 - Montreal, QC - During the 21st scholarship awards ceremony at the Ecole de technologie superieure (ETS), GIRO presented a scholarship to Jonathan Simard, Bachelor of Computer Science Engineering.
Each year, GIRO provides financial support to ETS students and encourages an undergraduate student who wishes to pursue a career in the field of public transit, operational research, or sustainable development.
'We want to support talented youths, especially in science and technology,' outlines Claudine Plante, Director of Human Resources at GIRO. 'In addition to providing scholarships at the university level, GIRO also supports MR3, a non-profit organization that helps high school students, as well as Les Scientifines, another non-profit that organizes scientific activities for primary school students.'

The Fonds de developpement de l'ETS (ETS Development Fund) helps maintain educational excellence standards thanks to the business community's financial participation.
