(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Wickenburg, Arizona (PRWEB) May 01, 2014 Remuda Ranch sponsored the Dessert Reception at the recent NEDA 2014 Annual Benefit Dinner. Patty Evans, Chief Marketing Officer and Chris Diamond, Executive Director for Remuda Ranch attended this elegant benefit dinner in New York City.

The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is the leading non-profit organization in the United States advocating on behalf of and supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Reaching millions every year, they campaign for prevention, improved access to quality treatment, and increased research funding to better understand and treat eating disorders.

"The spirit of Healing, Hope and Heroes was so evident at this event we are thrilled to have sponsored the reception with entertainment by Mary Lambert and spend time with the amazing leaders of NEDA." said Patty Evans.

The event also honored three individuals for their outstanding contributions in the field of eating disorders:    •  Mika Brzezinski, Co-Host, MSNBC's "Morning Joe," and author, for her courage in announcing, on the national stage, her struggle with an eating disorder.

   •  Ed Howard, Vice President, East Region & Global Account Aramark, for his continuous support of NEDA and for his strong advocacy among the corporate community for those with eating disorders.

   •  Russell Marx, MD Director of Programs, Eating Disorders Treatment and Research Center, UCSD and Chief Science Officer and Treasurer, NEDA, for his devotion and dedication to the field of eating disorders.

Remuda Ranch is an eating disorder treatment facility for women, teens and children located in Wickenburg, Arizona. Remuda Ranch shares many of the same values and passion as NEDA about helping, educating and offering resources to patients and families that suffer from a clinically significant eating disorder.
