Merril Keane joins Audubon Society board of directors; Essia Health hires Rachel Leiber: Oregon business movers [The Oregonian, Portland, Ore. :: ]


(Oregonian (Portland, OR) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) May 01--TECHNOLOGY Vancouver's DiscoverOrg, an online provider of sales and marketing intelligence tools used by information technology vendors, has named Andrew Steckley, former vice president and chief technology officer of energy management systems provider Makad Energy, as its new chief technology officer.



Previously, Steckley was co-founder and chief technology officer of PowerMand, and before that served as vice president of technology and CTO of @Once. Steckley holds a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering and engineering physics from the University of Toronto and a Ph.D. in civil engineering from the University of Western Ontario.

HEALTH Essia Health has hired Rachel Leiber to lead the company's electronic medical records (EMR) implementation services division. As director, Leiber will oversee current and future projects across the country, as well as informatics support. Leiber is based out of Essia Health's Portland office.


NONPROFIT Miller Nash business and tax attorney Merril Keane was recently elected to the board of directors of the Audubon Society of Portland. The Audubon Society, founded in 1902, promotes the protection of native birds, other wildlife and their habitats.
