Dubai, UAE: Bin Haider Hospitality, a subsidiary of Mohammad Omar Bin Haider Group (MOBH), has announced plans to significantly expand its presence in the UAE hospitality market.
The announcement will see the development of seven new hotel projects – adding an extra 2,000 rooms – across Dubai by 2020.
As part of the company's ambitious five year strategy to more than double its current Hotel portfolio, Bin Haider Hospitality has secured locations in both established and new growth areas across Dubai as the city ramps up development ahead of Expo 2020.
The first property to be completed will be on the iconic Palm Jumeirah's East Crescent, which is scheduled for completion by 2017 and will offer 230 rooms including 20 suites, all with magnificent views of the Dubai skyline.
This will be quickly followed by a stylish combination of Four and Five Star boutique properties hotels in BioTechCity, Studio City, Al Nahda and Dubai Media Zone, which will add a new dimension to Dubai's burgeoning mid-priced sector by answering increasing demands for affordable comfort and convenience.
As David Cockburn, Group General Manager, Bin Haider Hospitality Division, explains: "This sector of the market is becoming increasingly important as Dubai's Dubai's dynamic hospitality sector prepares for the arrival of Expo 2020. We are already seeing a significant increase in demand for Four Star accommodation across the Emirate and this trend will become ever more prevalent as the Expo draws closer. As a home-grown hospitality brand, we are committed to supporting Dubai and the UAE's continued growth which is why the Group is investing in a pipeline of projects that are aligned with the Emirate's vision for the future.

Tapping into the growing market demand for an upscale hotel brand that reflects pride in the Arabian customs and the local traditions, the group has already developed its own Grand Excelsior Hotel brand, with the first hotel opening with much success in Al Barsha in 2012, followed by the Grand Excelsior Bur Dubai, in November 2013, and the new Grand Excelsior Hotel Sharjah in April 2014.
Bin Haider Hospitality will be showcasing the Grand Excelsior brand at this year's edition of Arabian Travel Market, where they can be found as part of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing stand.
