Zagreb bourse's April turnover rises 3.6% m/m [IntelliNews - Weekly Reports]


(IntelliNews - Weekly Reports Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) said its total turnover rose 3.6% m/m to HRK 343.2mn (EUR 48.2mn) in April.

The stock turnover, however, went down 19.2% on the month to HRK 197.1mn, the bourse said in its monthly report. Yet, the turnover of block transactions with shares jumped to HRK 106.3mn from HRK 12.8mn in March.

The OTC market turnover increased by a monthly 12.7% to HRK 1.85bn.

The CROBEX10 index of the bourse's ten most liquid companies dropped 1.5% to 970.79 points, while the other important stock index - the CROBEX of 25 companies, went down 2.1% to 1,721.39 points.  The two bond indices ended higher - CROBIS increased 0.8% to 102.14 points and CROBIStr stepped up 1.3% to 129.1313.



The most traded companies in April were oil and gas company Ina (29.3%), followed by telecommunications company T-HT (11.1%) and lender Zagrebacka Banka (7.7%).

ZSE's market capitalisation stepped down 1.2% on the month to HRK 185bn at end-April.
