NATIVE VML's bookly wins Silver Pencil award at One Show in New York City [Bizcommunity (South Africa)](Bizcommunity (South Africa) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) NATIVE VML 's bookly app has received a Silver Pencil award at The One Club's One Show Interactive Awards Ceremony in New York City. bookly is a sophisticated e-reader app for Mxit that delivers smartphone functionality to the most basic feature phone. 250,000 books have already been added to bookshelves, and bookly has now expanded into a writing platform, encouraging kids to write their own stories in their own language. In addition NATIVE VML received a Merit award at One Show Design for Seeds of Truth. For this project, NATIVE VML and artisan coffee roaster TRUTH in Cape Town reinvented the takeaway cup by implanting herb seeds in the protector ring. The beautifully designed cups are also biodegradable, so that after finishing your cup of coffee it can be planted in your garden to sprout herbs.
