Two new nominations for Maltese gaming software company [MaltaToday]
(MaltaToday Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Following the outstanding success achieved during its participation at the ICE Totally Gaming event in London earlier this year, Bit8 has just been nominated and shortlisted for two new awards at the coming eGR B2B Awards also to be held in London this coming June. The two nominations in the 'Platform of the Year' and 'Software Rising Star' categories will see Bit8 competing with a number of other industry heavyweights.
"I believe that the main reason for these nominations lies in the highly innovative nature of our developed platform," explains Bit8 CEO, Angelo Dalli, himself a seasoned serial entrepreneur and a Ph.D in computer science.
"Our AI-powered platform has the main objective to aid operators maximise revenues and automating daily tasks across a number of roles. This impact on the Operator's bottom line is called: The Bit8 Double-Effect. We conceived the idea by adapting principles from investment banking terminals, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining and other highly-disruptive technology."
"Thanks to our platform our clients manage to give players VIP treatment at a lower cost, for example by applying advanced bonuses in under 10 minutes when this takes more than 4 to 6 hours on other comparable platforms," added Dr Dalli.
2014 is proving to be a very positive year for the company. Kick-starting with ICE in January, where Bit8 garnered a fantastic response with over 70 meetings on the stand, and a number of clients signing up with many more in the pipeline, to being nominated for two awards at the eGR B2B is a clear recognition of the impact that Bit8 is having across the Gaming Industry.
"This awards nomination and shortlisting confirms our innovative vision for Bit8, which continues to invest heavily in its human resources, product and service delivery to remain at the forefront as one of the gaming industry's disruptive technology companies", concluded Dalli.
