Naval Special Warfare Places First Order for Falcon III® Multi-channel Manpack RadioMELBOURNE, Fla. & ROCHESTER, N.Y. --(Business Wire)-- Harris Corporation (News - Alert) (NYSE:HRS) has received an initial order from the U.S. Navy for its next-generation Falcon III® Multi-channel Manpack tactical radio - the smallest, lightest and most capable two-channel manpack radio available today. It is the first tactical radio that can expand capabilities as the needs of the battlefield change. Harris will deliver the Multi-channel Manpack radios this fall to Naval Special Warfare, a leader in deploying cutting-edge battlefield technology. The radio is designed to operate over the new Mobile User Objective System military communications satellite without any hardware changes.
