New Post to Drive New Business and Front-Line Service Excellence

The Children's Society has appointed Val Floy to a newly created role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee all of the charity's business development and front-line services.
Val, currently The Children's Society's Business Development Director, takes up the new role with immediate effect.
Her big focus will be increasing contracted income and operating high quality services which provide the greatest possible impact for children and families.
She came from Spurgeons, where she was Director of Business Development and Marketing. This included developing a new product-based Enterprise Unit.
The Children's Society Chief Executive Matthew Reed said: 'We know that winning new work and managing our service delivery to the highest quality are both fundamental to our future success.
'Creating this new role is an exciting new step for the charity, particularly with Val at the helm. She brings with her impeccable credentials and a strong vision, including strongly aligning all of our service work with our campaigning and fundraising.'
