Cynthia Mare Endorsed As Face of Gtel
(AllAfrica Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Soulful singer Cynthia Mare is the latest to join a host of other well known personalities as the brand ambassador of GTel, a leading Zimbabwean telecoms company. Mare was endorsed this week at the launch of MX1 Xplora, a handset designed to push the limit of modern mobile technology with a rotating 13 megapixel camera phone complete with a 4.7 full HD and operating on 4.2 Android.
Robert Gonye, the marketing director of GTel confirmed that Mare was now the brand ambassador for the MX1 Xplora.
"Yes she is now one of the brand ambassadors including a Harare businesswoman Divine Ndhlukula. We are proud of her as an artiste and we hope that she will continue with the good work of promoting the brand," Gonye said.
Gonye also presented Mare with a brand spanking new MX1 Xplora for use. Mare also performed at the launch much to the delight of the audience.
Other personalities who were given the new sleek mobiles at the glittering launch ceremony include Honourable Joseph "Cde Chinos" Chinotimba and Ndhlukula.
Muscially, Mare has gained ground ever since she returned home from the United Kingdom last year. Mare has so far graced high profile gigs including her debut appearance at the Harare International Festival of the Arts held in April where she performed at the Opening Show alongside Ammara Brown and Adiona Maboreke-Chidzonga.
Her single "Amai" dedicated to her late mother was an instant hit on the local charts.
