Monoprice Showcases New Products in its Home Automation, Pro AV Systems and Premium Home Speakers Markets at InfoComm

Tech gear direct online sales leader Monoprice is showcasing its
expansion into the professional-grade AV systems, home automation and
premium home speakers markets with the launch of new products at InfoComm, the
largest annual exhibition for AV buyers and sellers worldwide.
Monoprice's lineup of products at InfoComm14 include:
A new 6-zone system (Product
ID #10761) that offers a 600-watt distribution amp, six
wall-mounted keypads, an RJ-45 hub for signal distribution and a
remote control. The system's receiver and control panels allow you to
connect to up to 6 rooms within your house, and to adjust the volume
and music source for the speakers within each particular area.
A new line of home automation components:
The Z-Wave Electronic Door Lock (Product ID #10798, $136)
is a security-enabled device which can be accessed remotely from
your smartphone or tablet by using different electronic codes.
The Z-Wave Motion Detector with Temperature Sensor (Product
ID #10796, $30) uses an infrared sensor sending a signal when
motion is detected within its detection range.
The Z-Wave Door and Window Sensor (Product ID #10795, $30) send
a signal when a door or window isopened or closed.
Two-way bookshelf loudspeakers fill rooms with music with a relatively
compact form factor and produce a powerful sound comparable to much
more expensive speakers:
5.25 Inch 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers ($79.48,
Product ID #10532) features a polypropylene woofer with
rubber surround and a 0.75" dome tweeter. They boast 65 Hz ~ 20
KHz frequency response range and 89dB sensitivity.
4-inch 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers ($69.72,
Product ID #10533) have a polypropylene woofer with
rubber surround, a 0.75" dome tweeter, and features 60 Hz ~ 20 KHz
frequency response range and an 87dB sensitivity.
Scheduled to launch later this year from Monoprice's home speaker
category are two passive floor-standing tower speakers. These
2-way bass reflex design tower speakers will have a similar family
style design and are voice matched to the bookshelf speakers.
