FERC Issues Order Approving Revised As-Built Exhibit L Drawing re Pacific Gas and Electric Company et al Under P-619


(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) WASHINGTON, June 20 -- The U.S. Department of Energy's Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued the text of the following delegated order: Pacific Gas and Electric Company City of Santa Clara Project No. 619-162 ORDER APPROVING REVISED AS-BUILT EXHIBIT L DRAWING (Issued June 20, 2014) 1. On February 18, 2014, Pacific Gas and Electric Company and the City of Santa Clara, licensees for the Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project, FERC No. 619, filed a revised as-built Exhibit L drawing for Commission approval. The project is located on Bucks Creek and Grizzly Creek, tributaries of the North Fork Feather River, within the Plumas National Forest, in Plumas County, California.



2. The licensees filed a revised as-built Exhibit L-5 drawing to reflect the installation of an air valve and modifications to the penstock standpipes. Our review of the revised drawing found that it accurately depicts as-built conditions and conforms to the Commission's rules and regulations. This order approves the revised drawing, and in ordering paragraph (B) we are requiring the licensees to file the approved drawing in electronic file format.

The Director orders: (A) The following as-built Exhibit L drawing, conforms to Commission rules and regulations, is approved and is made a part of the license.

A digital image of the approved exhibit drawing shall be prepared in electronic format. Prior to preparing the digital image, the FERC Project-Drawing Number (i.e., P-619-211) shall be shown in the margin below the title block of the approved drawing. The licensees shall file two separate sets of the exhibit drawing in electronic format on compact discs with the Secretary of the Commission, ATTN: OEP/DHAC. Exhibit L drawings must be identified as (CEII) material under 18 CFR section388.113(c). Each drawing must be a separate electronic file, and the file name shall include: FERC Project-Drawing Number, FERC Exhibit, Drawing Title, date of this License, and file extension in the following format [P-619-211, Ex. L-5, Sections of Intakes, Tunnels, and Surge Chamber - Lower Bucks Lake and Grizzly Forebay, MM-DD-YYYY.TIF]. The digital image of the exhibit drawing shall meet the following format specification: IMAGERY - black & white raster file FILE TYPE - Tagged Image File Format, (TIFF) CCITT Group 4 RESOLUTION - 300 dpi desired, (200 dpi min) DRAWING SIZE FORMAT - 22" x 34" (min), 24" x 36" (max) FILE SIZE - less than 1 MB desired (C) This order constitutes final agency action. Any party may file a request for rehearing of this order within 30 days from the date of its issuance, as provided in section 313(a) of the Federal Power Act, 16 U.S.C. section 825l (2012), and the Commission's regulations at 18 C.F.R. section 385.713 (2013). The filing of a request for rehearing does not operate as a stay of the effective date of this order, or of any other date specified in this order. The failure to file a request for rehearing shall constitute acceptance of this order.
