Sarah Fridovich has been hired director of communications and Emily Niedermeyer Becker '86, formerly director of development, has been promoted to vice president for development. Becker's has about 25 years of fundraising experience. Since starting at the Academy in July of 2013, she has increased revenue for every major St. Mary's event. In April, Becker led a record-breaking annual auction that raised $900,000 -- a 13 percent increase from last year. Sarah Fridovich brings experience in strategic communication, public relations, corporate communication and organizational development. Previously, she served as communications manager at one of the nation's largest non-profit foundations, Casey Family Programs.
