Bayshore Solutions Honored with 2014 Sustainable Business Award

Release date- 20062014 - TAMPA, FL, and DENVER, CO - Digital marketing agency, Bayshore Solutions, is pleased to announce the honor of receiving a 2014 Sustainable Business Award from the Sustainable Business Coalition.
Bayshore Solutions is one of just eight firms in the Greater Tampa Bay region that were selected for this honor.
The Sustainable Business Coalition began the annual Sustainable Business Awards program in 2008 as a way to honor for-profit businesses in the Tampa Bay Area that made the concept of 'The triple bottom line: People - Planet - Profit' a part of their corporate DNA and actively strive to improve the environment, community and the economy. Award criteria is based on the Global Reporting Initiative, international standard for the measurement of sustainable business.
Each year the program selects a class of honorees. 86 businesses have been selected to receive a Sustainable Business Award, 2014 Sustainable Business Award winners were judged through a series of interviews and evaluations conducted by a team University of Tampa MBA students under the guidance of Dr. Daniel Verreault, professor of Accounting at UT Sykes College of Business and Co-director of the UT Center for Ethics
Some of the corporate practices that Bayshore Solutions follows with a focus on sustainability include being as paperless as possible, exclusively using energy Star-rated equipment, embracing secure virtual hosting assets, active corporate recycling and using automated climate and lighting controls in their office buildings.
Bayshore Solutions first received a City of Tampa Green Business Designation certified by the Sustany Foundation in 2012.
