Software firm takes on run [Birmingham Post (England)]

(Birmingham Post (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) TECH business Delcam has become one of the first firms to sign up to the Bupa Great Birmingham Run Business Challenge.

A total of 16 runners from the software firm have signed up for the event on October 19.

Eleven of the team ran in last year's half marathon, but this is the first year Delcam has entered a team into the Business Challenge, which in 2013 attracted a record 400 runners representing 37 teams. Team coordinator Luke Edwards said: "Our team comes from across all departments and covers all abilities - from club runners to complete novices." The Bupa Great Birmingham Run is the second biggest half marathon in the UK. Organisers hope to beat the record 20,000 runners who took part in the 2013 run.
