Compass Learning Takes K-12 Education in New Directions with Reimagined Intervention, Blended Learning & Credit Recovery Tools

Building on more than 40 years of innovation in developing instructional software that enables students to succeed, Compass (News - Alert) Learning® is launching a new suite of solutions to help teachers tackle today's biggest education challenges. The new offerings focus on blended learning, intervention and credit recovery, and help educators truly personalize learning to meet students' individual learning needs.

• Hybridge™ - blended learning for elementary and middle school.
  Hybridge is aligned to leading basal textbooks to help teachers ease into a blended learning environment and comfortably transition toa balance of digital and face-to-face instruction. The fun, rigorous content and differentiated instruction engages students and empowers educators with real-time progress monitoring and robust reporting.

  Gradbound increases graduation rates by enabling students to recover the credits they need to graduate. Whether recovering an entire course or part of a course, students can access the necessary tools and resources to fulfill course requirements at their own pace, anytime, anywhere.

Each of the new solutions includes implementation training that covers not only set up and use of the program, but also modifying instructional and classroom management practices. Compass Learning also provides leadership a session on effective change management.

Simultaneous to the release of the new software offerings, Compass Learning is also launching new professional development offerings including its Leveraging Data course, which will guide educators on examining data more closely, learning when and how to look at and use data, and developing a culture of using data to guide instruction.

Pathblazer and Hybridge will be ready for district implementation at the start of the 2014-2015 school year. Gradbound will be released in Spring 2015.
