Morgan Drexen Blood Drive Exceeds Expectations
(GlobeNewswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) COSTA MESA, Calif., June 27, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In response to an anticipated shortfall in blood donations going into the Fourth of July holiday week, the management and employees of Morgan Drexen Integrated Systems (http://www.morgandrexen.com) held their second blood drive of the year with donation levels exceeding all expectations.
"Helping the Red Cross is very important to us, especially going into a holiday week when we know that blood donations typically drop dangerously low," said Walter Ledda, Morgan Drexen's Chief Executive Officer. "So we chose to schedule the second of our four yearly blood drives when the Red Cross needs the most support."
Morgan Drexen, one of last year's Red Cross Platinum Award winners has committed to four blood drives in 2014 to be held at its company headquarters. "We have more than 200 employees, and many of them are regular blood donors at every one of our blood drives," said Joe Lizura, Morgan Drexen's Vice President of Media and Public Relations. "Conducting a company blood drive is such an easy way to help someone who may be in a life or death situation and needs blood to save their life – I wish all companies would schedule them at least once or twice a year."

Galaxy tickets and 2 tickets to the Laugh Factory comedy club. "It's just our way of showing how much we appreciate everyone's support," added Jennings.
