Saudi telecoms group Mobily unveils cloud computing offer for SMEs [CPI Financial]

(CPI Financial Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Mobily has launched a new cloud computing offer for small and medium-sized business sector in Saudi Arabia as part of its strategic alliance with Virtustream.

The service is divided into three categories: Silver category includes 8 GB of RAM, 2.2 GHz with a storage capacity of 200 GB and costs SAR 2699 per month; the Gold category, which include 16 GB of RAM, 4.1 GHz with a storage capacity of 500 GB costs SAR 5149 per month while the Platinum category includes 32 GB of RAM, 8.2 GHz with a storage capacity of 1000 GB and costs SAR 9999 per month.

Mobily offers this service to its current customers via secure, reliable, and high-speed network connections to its Tier III and IV data-centres. Recent research in the KSA has shown that information security and loss of control over critical IT infrastructure assets are viewed as significant barriers to cloud adoption. Mobily Business Cloud Services have been designed with security, control and performance at their core. All data are stored within the Kingdom and managed under KSA data sovereignty laws.
