GLOBO Acquires Sourcebits Inc. to Boost Mobile App Development Offering

Globo Plc (LSE-AIM: GBO), the global provider of complete enterprise mobility solutions and Software-as-a-Service ("SaaS (News - Alert)"), today announced the acquisition of San Francisco, California based Sourcebits, a leading designer and developer of mobile applications for enterprise customers.

The acquisition of the services division of Sourcebits strengthens GLOBO's mobile application development capabilities and enhances its competitiveness in enterprise and consumer apps. Sourcebits' extensive developer resources and skills, and app design expertise add to Globo's unique product proposition that merges enterprise mobility management (GO!Enterprise) with mobile application development (GO!AppZone). It expands Globo's operations in North America, and adds another revenue stream that comes from offering professional services in mobile app design, development and consulting.
