GovDelivery and GovDelivery Senior Management Recognized for Leadership, Growth, Excellence, Strong Ethics and Innovation

(GlobeNewswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SAINT PAUL, Minn., June 30, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GovDelivery, leading provider of cloud-based public sector communication solutions, announced that its CEO and co-Founder, Scott Burns was selected by the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation to receive a 2014 HERBIE award. Now in its eleventh year, the H.E.R.B.I.E. award recognizes individuals and businesses that exemplify the traits inspired by its namesake, Herb Brooks: Humanitarian, Enterprising, Resilient, Bold, Inspiration and Ethical. Each year, two recipients are selected by the Chamber's Foundation Board. Burns and the Saint Paul Port Authority were honored at the Fifteenth Annual Charitable Foundation Luncheon last week in Saint Paul.

Kate Kelly, Chair of the Foundation Board, states, "Scott is not afraid to take a risk or support an issue he strongly believes in, nor is he afraid of failure. "Our work right here with the City of St. Paul built the foundation for our work with more than 1,000 public sector organizations across the country, helping them to reach more citizens and get them to take action through impactful communications."
