Avaya Names John P. Sullivan as Corporate Treasurer


(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SANTA CLARA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/01/14 -- Avaya announced that John P. Sullivan has joined the company as vice president and corporate treasurer. In this role, John will manage the global treasury function including capital structure, pension & investments, cash management, foreign exchange, insurance, bank relationships and customer credit. Sullivan will report to Dave Vellequette, senior vice president and chief financial officer, and will be based at the company's Santa Clara, California headquarters.



Prior to coming to Avaya, John was vice president and treasurer for JDS Uniphase Corporation and previously held treasury positions at PG&E Corporation, Metron Technology and Aerie Networks. John holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Michigan and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
