Lawyers argue in court over 38 Studios depositions [The Providence Journal, R.I. :: ]

(Providence Journal (RI) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) July 11--PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Lawyers are arguing Friday morning in Superior Court, Providence, over whether three defendants in the 38 Studios case can be compelled to appear for additional depositions.

The state agency that issued $75 million in bonds for Curt Schilling's now defunct video-game company wants more access to defendants First Southwest Company, Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, and Adler Pollock & Sheehan. Employees for all three firms who were involved in crafting the loan deal for 38 Studios have all been deposed already.

Judge Michael A. Silverstein called a short recess just before 11 a.m., after the hearing began at 9:30 a.m.
