Huawei Helps Kenya Build 4G Network

(Sinocast Telecommunications Beat (China) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SHENZHEN, July 14, SinoCast -- Foreign media said that Huawei Technologies is planning to team up with Kenyan telecom companies in deploying faster 4G network locally so that local customers can enjoy high-speed Internet after completion of network construction.


Huawei Technologies is a major supplier to Kenyan carrier Safaricom, helping the latter build up 2G, 3G and optical fiber network and update M-PESA mobile payment platform from G1 to G2 so that the company can offer better service.

Besides, Huawei Technologies also helped local telecom company Telkom build up ADSL, FTTx and CDMA networks.
