Job Description: Manager of Accounting Reports to: Controller Description of our Organization: Founded in 1963, we are a large nonprofit based in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. We have over $500 million in assets and 1,700 funds. GCF helps individuals, families and businesses achieve their charitable goals, and we make grants across an eight county region in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Brief description of Duties: The Manager of Accounting is a member of our seven person Finance & Administration Group. This position is responsible for general accounting, bank and investment reconciliations and the monthly close. The Manager of Accounting also assists the controller with cash management, revenue accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, internal controls, and the annual audit / tax returns.


Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in accounting; Certified Public Accountant and/or minor in Information Technology preferred; Minimum of three years' experience in an accounting related position (public accounting or private industry); strong analytical and communication skills.
