PART Board Holds Meeting [Oman News Agency](Oman News Agency Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Muscat, July 22 (ONA) --- The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Radio and Television (PART) today held its 3rd meeting for 2014 under the chair of Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser al-Harrasi, PART Board Chairman in the presence of PART Deputy Chairman and members. The meeting discussed the PART's 9th five-year development plan (2016-2020), which was approved by the Board. The meeting also discussed a number of topics related to various administrative aspects in PART. The Board viewed works of the committee concerned with developing the visions pertaining to launching the TV channel concerned with various forms of the Omani heritage. The Board also valued the role of various PART's sectors during the holy month of Ramadhan, represented in the rich diversity of television and radio programs, as well as highlighting the Omani cultural identity. --- Ends/HG/KH (c) 2014 (C) .
