Sunset World Resorts & Vacation Experiences awarded for its Sunset Pop Culture Fest PR campaign(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 28 July 2014 Release date- 25072014 - The 1st CARIBE MEXICANO Awards were presented on July 3rd 2014 at the Universidad del Caribe campus to the best PR campaigns in 2014. Sunset World Resorts & Vacation Experiences obtained the award for its PR campaign of the 1st Sunset Pop Culture Fest, in the cultural event category. With the slogan Arriba, Abajo, al Centro y pa'dentro! ( in reference to a friendly toast among friends similar to 'through the lips and over the gums; look out stomach 'cause here she comes'), the Sunset Pop Culture Fest was a 6 day event welcoming celebrities, 22 professional wrestlers and Mexican companies that showed the best of Mexican roots, folklore and traditions through exhibits, workshops and gastronomical events surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the Hotel Hacienda Tres Rios Resort, Spa & Nature Park, in the Riviera Maya. Rocio Mena Rendiz, head of the PR Association of the Mexican Caribbean, presented awards to local businesses for their campaigns in favor of the community; she pointed out that this award has been officially instated and will be presented each year as the winning companies have played an important role. The invitation has been extended to the private and public sectors and to universities. 'What we aim for is to position Public Relations in every single enterprise, as they always have something to say and don't have the right people to say it', Mena Rendiz pointed out. She invited companies to take part next year thus creating awareness about their activities in favor of culture, gastronomy and the community in general, as she is confident that the role of Public Relations is still thriving.
