EasyDraft Receives SSAE 16 Certification
(GlobeNewswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Charlotte, NC, July 30, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Electronic payment solutions provider EasyDraft announced today that it
has received its Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements
no. 16 (SSAE 16) certification from the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants. The certification affirms that
EasyDraft's information systems have achieved highest standards of
privacy, security, availability, processing integrity and
confidentiality of its clients' data.
"Our firm sought this certification because we are deeply
committed to the security and integrity of our clients'
information," said Deb Good, senior director of product management
at EasyDraft. "We are incredibly pleased that our systems have now
been officially recognized by such a distinguished accreditation.
We will continue to make data integrity and confidentiality our top
priority as we bring new solutions to market in the future."
The SSAE 16 is a type II Service Organization Control (SOC) 1
audit, but EasyDraft is also working to complete the SOC 2 audit,
which is based upon the AICPA's Trust Service Principles and
concentrates on the firm's non-financial reporting controls as they
relate to a system's data confidentiality, security, privacy,
availability and processing integrity. The firm expects to complete
the SOC 2 audit in September.
Prior to the SSAE 16 audit, EasyDraft was under SAS 70 audit
security, but chose to reaffirm its security commitment with the
more intense SSAE 16 audit when it replaced the SAS 70 audit.
