Private Investigators UK Keeps up the Pace with Modern Technology

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) (PRWEB UK) 31 July 2014 According the article posted on Sky News' official website, dated 04 July 2014: Science Students Launch Iphone into Space, a group of A-Level Student have successfully filmed Earth from space by launching an Iphone tied to helium balloon. The project, involving students from Giles Academy in Boston, took two years to complete and finance.

They raised funds in order to buy a large helium balloon, a GPS tracker, a flight computer which tracked the altitude, and an Iphone, which was used as a video recording device. Even though extensive preparations were carried out, the launch didn't go according to plan, because the balloon hit a tree. Science teacher Andrew Castley said: "We had loads of pupils from school lined up to witness the big launch but the balloon hit a tree. After the re-launch, over two hours of footage was recorded, and the balloon reached the altitude of 29 km, after which it burst. The Iphone was located using the GPS tracker. The team plans to repeat the experiment and attempt an even higher altitude.
