(Mobile 88 Online (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) According 9to5Google which points us to a story in Chinese website AppleDaily, a man was shot but came out relatively unscathed, as the bullet was blocked by his Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 phablet.
As it turns out, the victim got into a minor argument with a man who then whipped out a gun and fired it straight toward his chest. Luckily for him, however, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 was in his shirt pocket and the bullet did not manage to hit his vital organs. As pictured below, the device which is pretty much a goner. So with that, Samsung’s marketing department is going have a field day with this incident and they can now boast their devices’ durability, among other things.
To recap, Samsung's Galaxy Mega 6.3 and featured a dual-core 1.7GHz processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, a 3,200 mAh battery and an 8-megapixel camera along with a massive 6.3-inch display. It also saves lives.
