Greyson Meers becomes Link-Belt\ s quality director [Construction Week (United Arab Emirates)]


(Construction Week (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Link-Belt Construction Equipment has appointed Greyson Meers as its director of quality.

Meers, who has worked both in the crane and automotive industries, joins the US manufacturer with more than 20 years of management experience in quality, supply chain, and lean operations.

He will be responsible for ensuring that Link-Belt's processes achieve the highest quality standards, from componentry to the finished product.

"Greyson understands the importance of establishing superior quality from new product development all the way to customer delivery and beyond," said vice-president of manufacturing at Link-Belt, Russell Hopper.



Meers holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Industrial Technology from Morehead State University. He has also served in the US Army, and speaks conversational Chinese, German, and Spanish.

"With extensive ISO, AAR, and IRIS quality systems background, and Six Sigma Black Belt certification, Greyson can provide the leadership and ability to build upon our great quality system," Hopper concluded.
