al khaliji contributes to funding Qatar Charity's Mali project [Gulf Times (Qatar)]

(Gulf Times (Qatar) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) has provided QR102,300 to help build a healthcare facility in Mali through a project owned by Qatar Charity.

This initiative comes as part of al khaliji's corporate social responsibility programme, which extends a helping hand to communities locally and internationally, according to a statement.

Qatar Charity will handle the proceedings and ensure the completion and operational aspect of the 105sqm facility set to be established in Mali as part of its efforts to provide basic amenities for those unable to afford them.

The new healthcare institution is set to provide primary and essential health services to residents of the country long embattled by a crisis that has affected the livelihood of families and suffering from an increased poverty level.

al khaliji's corporate social responsibility aims at balancing economic, social and environmental obligations. Through such initiatives, al khaliji affirms its solidarity with disadvantaged societies and translates its beliefs in the strength of one global community, the statement adds.
