WordStream Named One of America's Fastest Growing Companies by Inc. Magazine

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Boston, MA (PRWEB) August 21, 2014 Boston-based WordStream Inc., a provider of search engine marketing software and services, was named this week to the Inc. 5000, Inc. magazine's annual list of America's fastest-growing companies.

Due to strong revenue growth and aggressive hiring during the past year, WordStream was ranked the 673rd fastest-growing company in the United States. As noted by BostInno, WordStream is the 6th fastest-growing company in Massachusetts.

Earlier this year, WordStream surpassed $10 million in annual recurring revenue and reached a count of more than 100 staff members. The company is preparing to move into additional office space at 177 Huntington Avenue in Boston to accommodate current and anticipated growth.

WordStream's client base has quadrupled during the past two years alone, and has multiplied by a factor of ten during the past three years. In addition, WordStream recently secured an additional $12 million in funding, led by Baird Capital of Chicago, to further drive its ambitious growth goals.

"We are both excited and honored to be recognized for the second consecutive year by Inc. magazine," said Ralph Folz, CEO of WordStream. "Our continued growth has been driven not only by strong investment, but by significant expansion of our client base, continual improvements to and diversification of our product offering, and our commitment to the success and growth of our customers." As part of the Inc. 5000 2014, WordStream joins other notable companies in the technology sector in this year's list, including Microsoft, Oracle, and Zappos, as well as leading brands such as GoPro, Under Armour, and Patagonia.
